Volunteering/Coaching
Coaching and guidance play an important role in the lives of today’s young people especially those who struggle academically and for whom career paths and opportunities for success seem extremely limited.

Volunteers serve as role models and help young people discover the real world application of what is learned in classroom or community programs. They also enable young people to discover emerging careers in the region's innovation economy.
Business Coaches
Provide young people guidance throughout the stages of business creation and entrepreneurial learning. Coaches help young people shape ideas and then transform them into an actual business supported by the plan. Coaches also can assist the young entrepreneurs prepare for the peer-to-peer competitions.
Business Speakers
As a classroom speaker, volunteers offer "expert" topic presentations that deepen the young entrepreneur's understanding of core knowledge and skills such as entrepreneurial thinking and innovation, financial management, pitching ideas and adapting to change
Field Trip Hosting
Enabling young entrepreneurs to experience the real world of business is essential. Field trips to entrepreneurial companies help them to understand business creation and growth AND the connection between education and careers.
Business Plan Competition Judging
As judges, you get to see and evaluate the results of the coaching, special presentations, field trips and all other Entrepreneuring Youth program experiences. As a judge, you help to determine who moves forward at various levels of the peer-to-peer competitions.
NOTE: To protect the safety of young people, all volunteers must meet required security clearances and participate in the Entrepreneuring Youth orientation.
