Franklin Center and The Community College of Beaver County

In 2007, the Franklin Center of Beaver County (FCBC) made a commitment to entrepreneurship education as a core strategy to prepare young people for post-secondary success.  Since that time, FCBC has been the primary partner for the creation and delivery of a pathway of summer and after school programs for middle school and high school age youth.  Entrepreneuring Youth engaged the Community College of Beaver County as an additional partner where most of the programs and competitions are hosted.  More than 63 young people engaged in Entrepreneuring Youth's advanced program which provides group learning and individual coaching to young business owners.   

Sandy Edwards, from the Franklin Center, is the coordinator for these programs.
